A Beautiful Day for a MAAG Meeting
Twenty six folks gathered at the Hutchinson, Kansas airport today for the February meeting of the Mid-America Antique Airplane Group. We enjoyed a delicious lunch buffet at the Airport Steakhouse. Seven airplanes made the journey with their pilots and crews enjoying an outstanding day for flying. The temperature was warmer aloft with several reporting 70 degree readings. The ground wasn't that worse pegging the meter at about 60 degrees. It sure beats the 17 below and blowing snow from about 5 days ago!
Election of officers was the main topic of business, with all three officers reelected for one more year. They include Steve Quick as President, Tim Wiebe as Vice president, and Randy Shields as Secretary / Treasurer.
The March meeting with be at the Kansas Aviation Museum in Wichita, hosted by Walt House, on March 13. Mark your calendars!
