Windy Day for MAAG Meeting
Winds were gusting 40 mph and almost 90 degrees to the runway today, keeping all the MAAG pilots safely on the ground. We still had a record turn-out of 60 people for beef brisket at the home/hangar of Spence and Susan Atha at Stearman Field in Benton, Kansas.
The main order of business was selecting officers for 2013. The current officers agreed to another year in their positions:
Tim Wiebe - President
Earl Long - Vice President
Randy Shields - Secretary / Treasurer
It's time to pay dues again, still only $15. Next month's meeting will be at the Kansas Aviation Museum Restoration Center on March 10 at 1:00 PM. Bring a friend!
