MAAG makes a housecall on Doc
About 100 people from MAAG gathered today in one of Boeing Wichita's hangars to see a B-29 named "Doc" that has been undergoing restoration since 2000. Boeing originally built this airplane in Wichita in 1945. The restoration team is in the home stretch and hope to fly this summer. Key recent milestones include getting all of the engines and props back from overhaul. This project would not be possible without the massive volunteer effort to see "Doc" fly again.
