A Great Day for the MAAG Annual Fly-In

The MAAG annual fly-in that is coincident with the celebration of Old Settler's Day in Halstead, Kansas was last Saturday.  After some low ceilings scattered around the area which quickly burned off, the weather was very pleasant with light winds and highs barely 90 degrees.  Approximately 50 airplanes flew in.  Events included a pancake breakfast, flight over town to kick off the parade, airplane judging, and of course lots of hangar flying.  Below are pictures of the trophy winners and some pictures of other planes that graced the skies that day.

 18 cakes cooking at a time and just kept up with demand!
